House Battery replacement in PDX?

My van is in desperate need of a new house battery. I've seen some of the discussions on here about the different types and which people prefer, but they all seem to be from mail order places and self install jobs. I currently don't have access to the tools to do the install myself. I'm currently in Portland, OR, but heading to SanFran/Santa Cruz, CA area in the next few weeks. Any suggestions on where to get a high quality good deal on a new house battery with install?

I know many people have recommended Van Specialties in Lake Oswego, I am sure they could help you out.

How involved is the install job? Are you just replacing the battery or are you pulling a bunch of wires?

You did not really say what size battery you were replacing. I purchased a Lifeline 4D at one of the local (Beaverton) Batteries Plus, they had it shipped to the store the next day. I have replaced one on my van and would be willing to help. feel free to PM me.

You guys rock! I talked to Van Specialties and will take it there and get a quote in the next few days. Since I'm in a time crunch I'll probably have them sort it out. If that falls through I might hit one of you up on the offer to help. Really appreciate the community on here. My rig will be home for then next few months and I'm trying to get everything working top notch.

I also would recommend Van Specialties. While I have never had work done there I have been to both the new and old shops for parts and the people there are just great and from what I have seen on my shop tours they do really nice work.
