I just went down the crazy rabbit hole of audiophile audio equipment and was wondering if there are other nut jobs out there who care to share their stories, advice, build thought/process? The painful part in all of this is that I now have to figure out how to incorporate the MASSSSSSSSIVE subwoofer box
My hope for this system is to have incredible sound quality no matter what I am listening to at any level. I also want to wire in some quick connects and brackets on the outside of the van under the awning so I can put some Marine grade JL Audio speakers up when we are posted up and want some savory tunes!!!
Here is what I have procured so far;
Head Unit:
Pioneer Dbl Din (very cheap one from Crutchfield) at the moment but going to swap out for a single din unit (another cheap one as the Audison will tune the sound stage) that will get mounted out of the way/behind an iPad (at this stage I am limited to a mini (I am looking for another dash bezel to mock up and see if I can mount a regular size "air" by moving climate controls???????????????????)
