I have been meaning to buy one. Seems like exactly what you need.

Don't need to buy if you already have a multimeter. I use my multimeter with continuity tone (so when the two contacts are electrically connected it makes a noise instead of just reading 0 ohms) so I don't have to be looking at it, then made up a 10' piece of wire with alligator clip on one end (clip to multimeter probe) and pin on other end. Clip multimeter to one end of unknown wire, clip long patch cable to other end and start probing until you hear the beep.

Nice find!!

Do you (by chance ? )know if the 2008 E350 6.0 Diesel has a similar/related wiring feature ? I've searched the wirings diagrams, under the hood and under the dash, but not having a lot of luck. I'd like to use the existing wiring, if it exists, to hook up some lights and possibly a compressor
