identify some wires?
Curious about six wires terminated at the firewall to the right of the steering column. They come from a factory loom and know idea where the go, anyone familiar with these?

Anything not working as it should?
That's definitely not OEM. Someone has been in there.
Is this a converted van? Year, mileage, number of owners? Anything could've been done and then undone.

You now have six wires already fed through the firewall for controlling future accessories. Make some lemonade from the lemons. Of course you have to find the other end of the wires.

It's a 2010 E350, and yes, it's had some wiring work done, remote start etc.

Has anyone had any luck with using a cable tracer in these kind of situations?

Actually is is
Those are the factory PTO wires, which can be used to enable a fast idle switch. This is the updated PTO guide:

Yes the pto wires go nowhere, but I've got another four wires in a terminated plug under the hood, these wires are large, like 10 or 12 gage. They end up under the dash in an empty plug, I thought they may be for the upfitter switches (I don't have) but the colors weren't right, I checked the wiring diagram book to find out they're customer access circuits. One is hot all the time and one is key on hot. I started this project because I need some additional switches for various things, now I'm thinking of getting the upfit switches for the dash. I may even be able to use Ford's pigtail? I don't have much experience with 12v so maybe you guys could suggest my next step here. You all have been a great so far.
