I got the DNX693S, I think one model year newer. They improved a few things, blue tooth works pretty well but there are still some interface issues, for one, if I recall correctly, the built in GPS Garmin maps won’t run when the phone is hard plugged into the head unit and is also running navigation like apple maps for an additional aid.
All these units have some wonky interface issues, but I don’t think you can go wrong with either Pioneer or Kenwood, either is a good choice and offers more features than lots of the other options out there.
