Looking for info on a very old Starcool system

1990 Ford E250. It has an early Starcool system that piggybacks on the dash A/C's blower and evaporator.

The dash A/C works OK while driving. When the belt-driven compressor kicks in, so does the fan on the extra Starcool condenser under the driver's side door.

What doesn't work is any of the shore power stuff. When I turn on the 20A breaker and turn down the thermostat, there's a quiet click from the relay box under the rear seat, but nothing else happens.

Found lots of info in the forum, but it's mostly for Starcool III, which is different from my system. I could use a schematic, because the wiring is surprisingly complicated.

Yes, I'd appreciate that. I don't know if StarCool II is the one I have, but I should be able to tell pretty quickly if the schematic resembles what's installed.

There should be two attachments, if you only see one let me know.

I only see one attachment.

This looks different from the system I have, unfortunately -- the one I have operates the dash A/C blower when parked, instead of having a separate evaporator and blower. It seems they went through several revisions with this system.

I actually have the original manual for my van, but it only describes the operation of the system in general terms -- it doesn't have an electrical schematic or other technical info.

I finally decided to just trace the whole system out by hand. I'll attach the resulting diagrams in case anyone else needs them -- please excuse my handwriting. Note that these aren't complete -- there are a few mysteries left:
- Where does the brown wire get power? It seems to get it from the stock HVAC system but I've been unable to figure out where.
- What does the blue wire do? I think it shuts the system down if the ignition is on, so the two compressors can't fight, but I didn't think to test this theory before buttoning everything back up.
The problem with my system turned out to be a single relay -- the one under the dash had a burned out coil, preventing the system from switching from engine mode to external power mode.
