MICROWAVE DIMENSIONS

microwave.

Hey I need dimensions for the standard (if there is such a thing) SMB micro waive. I think my opening is 10 by 19. I cant find an oven that fits nicely.

Re: MICROWAVE DIMENSIONS

I don't know if there is a standard, but I know that that the cavity behind our opening would hold a variety of sizes. I think that approach is smart so replacement is not a giant ordeal.

Re: MICROWAVE DIMENSIONS

We tried putting it in the space above the porta potty in a Eb50 layout. It really wasn't a good fit for what we found. You most likely will have to modify the space. I think mine was like 11.5 and I could never find one that fit. Maybe ask SMB for where they buy theirs?

Re: MICROWAVE DIMENSIONS

That's weird, they are supposed to fit right where the drawer is on the 50. I was given (er... had to argue that the seller claimed it was included) a crappy microwave that was supposed to fit.

It's in the original box so I can't get the dimensions but it's a Haier MWQ646RW. Since I don't ever plan to have a micro in the van it's available.

Re: MICROWAVE DIMENSIONS

If you dont like Jage's, I have a G.E microwave in my garage that is 10 3/16 high x 17.5 wide. Never opened the box. If it fits and youv are interested send me a PM. Bought it at home depot then decided I didn't want it.

Re: MICROWAVE DIMENSIONS

What about the convection microwave they offer? Same size? Larger? Would it fit in an HA cabinet?

Re: MICROWAVE DIMENSIONS

The wave box is small. 15" by 10 1/4". It runs on 12v or 110 and is tuff as nails.

Re: MICROWAVE DIMENSIONS

GE sells a microwave that's less than 10" tall. It is almost the exact same one I have in my van (slightly different control panel). Got it at Wal-Mart for my work truck. Like 50 bucks. I did not find it on the web site but found it in the store. I bought it last year so it might not be available anymore.

$33.87! I wonder how it compares to the WAVE (which was invented in Seattle BTW)
