Monitoring for 6.0L Ford

Is there a better tool than a XGuage (Scan Guage II) for monitoring a
2008 6.0L PSD Ford?

(there is a group buy underway in another group that I don't want to
miss....)

If there is something better, what is it and why is it better?

Thanks

Do you need other buyers? Are they hard to install?

I have no idea what is best.

But for my needs the scangauge is ideal. Very easy to install and you can easily program it for various areas to monitor. I added transmission fluid temp in about 5 minutes.

Greg:

Here is a thread I came across that you might be interested in for PLX Guage.

If you go with a ScanGuage, I would recommend passing on the rearview mirror mount as offered here. While it's a great piece of hardware, and a very clean install, mounting the ScanGuage in that location makes it almost impossible to read except at night. The ScanGuage display is not that bright, and with being backlit through the windshield, the display just washes out.

The ScanGuage itself, I do like, though sometimes it's better not to know your fuel usage and live in denial.
