Need Help Maguyvering 110V Shore Power Cord

I am in Blue Rive BC and forgot to pack the pigtail that converts the 220V shore power cable so it can plug into a 110V outlet. I have an extension cord and my plan is to take the plug off the end of the shore power cable and put on the extension cord. What I need to know is whether the hot wire connects to the L-Shaped prong on the straight one. Can someone test theirs with a multi meter and post the results.

Thanks
John

John, just to make sure are you talking a 50A 4 wire220 to 30A 3 wire110? Or 30A 3 wire 110 to typical household plug? Or 50A 4 wire to typical household plug?

Re: Need Help Maguyvering 110V Shore Power Cord

Dave,

Once I took the plug apart I realized that this is a 110V plug so swapping the plug to the extension cord was easy.

Cheers,
John
