Re: Our new solar system...

Believe it or not, but this move is going to reduce our monthly nut by over $5,000 and provide additional rental income once we purchase another rental property. We have rentals here now but are thinking a VRBO property in the same area might make sense. We somewhat threw caution to the wind in doing this - everyone suggests renting first, but we loved the property, got a great deal, and were afraid of losing it if we waited much longer - we had been looking at this house for over a year.

Jan is really the driving force behind the move and I am the nervous one about such a big change but as it gets closer I can really see the wisdom in her plan - glad she is taking me along with her!

Will we have to attend Time Share seminars when we visit?

Yes, but afterwards they will refund the amount the taxi ride from the airport would have cost you, and you get a bottle of tequila.

God my friend and I felt so stupid for getting talked into a 90 minute Cabo time share presentation, which they swore would only be 30 minutes.

Stupid yes, completely insane/(drunk)? NO.

I'm sure Time Shares are a great answer for some people, just not me.

When we were buying foreclosures at Trustee's Auctions and flipping homes, time shares would often come up for auction, but no one would bid on them - except one dummy.

I bought a time share in Cabo at Playa Bonito Los Cabos for a few dollars - that costs me $550.00 a year, but we have used it a few times and offered it to friends. I'll be selling it once we get down there. I'm not the time share type but I know many who are and love them. One couple I know have two in Cabo and use them every year for the last 15 or more years.

Jeez, what's it like a 100 yards from the beach? That's pretty far to walk after a few margarita's!

I'll be there next fall.

Beautiful!

Can us home builders drop by too? We start the Pan Am next year so we'll also be in your area around Fall.

Re: Our new solar system...

Are you still going to have your shop up and running in El Cajon? I've been meaning to give you a call to inquire about getting a leveling kit installed.
