That X-Member in the upper right of Redoval's pic is where my 4D will hang off of. With another removable support in front of it. All my mounts sit on top of something....gravity and such.

Edit to add: I'm open for any ideas on design. I hated lowering the battery on my 04 SMB. What a PITA.

Well after some of the mounts that others had posted I used bits from several of them to fab my mount. This required removing the last exhaust hanger mount, I'll move it further back.
Here's the end product:

Real nice Saline! I'm gonna take advantage of that cross member right there and hang my battery off that and a piece of angle that spans the gap and sits on top of the frame. But my batter will be right there too!
