I use the radio switch quite often also, I have also tapped my carputer DC to DC power supply into this line. When using the key the carputer will power up and down with the key. I don't have my carputer go into hibernate so it takes a little time to boot up. Many times I hit the switch before I start the van, I also will switch over, if I have to make a quick trip into a store, etc. Mine also has a led indicator. I have also put a indicator up in the front so I can tell which postilion it is in from the drivers seat.I think the overall problem would be solved if SMB moved the secondary/memory source to the house battery. Glad you found your problem.
