Although their inventory shows that they have 1000W and 2000W units, they do not have any more of those.
HB and Anaheim still had 2x 60 watt panels, and a huge stack of 1000 and 600 watt inverters, a couple charge controller kits on Friday.

Dang, none to be found near me. I knew I should've just gotten one of these when they were in stock online.

Boywonder, check your PM!

FYI: I just called Lowes' nationwide product line and had them check stock in the entire country for 100w Zamp panels. None show up in the system. :-(

Looks like it's Renogy panels for me...

That's a bummer. I was hoping to find a second 100 watt. Looks like I'll be running 2 or 3 60 watt panels instead.

If you want a 1000 or 2000 Watt inverter, according to Lowe's national call center, there are still 200 of the 1000s, and 40 of the 2000s floating around the US. When I called, the woman with whom I spoke was very helpful. She found a 2000 for me at the Oxnard, CA store, and called the store for me directly and arranged to have them ship the inverter to me at a cost of $7.99.

Contact Info
Lowe's National Call Center: 800-445-6937
Oxnard, CA store (they still have one or two 2000s, and four 1000s): 805-981-2330

Happy hunting!

Soft start technology for this inverter is that the output voltage will gradually increase to normal output value.

Specifically, if you have a heavy inductive or capacitive load, you need to turn on said appliance and then turn on inverter to induce soft start load.

If you had equipment that was sensitive to low output, this could be a problem.
