Many newer aftermarket headunits have wireless remotes available. A cheap way to do this is to just velcro it to the center of the wheel or something.
Most won't work. They are usually the cheap old style that have to be aimed right at the head unit. I think that would be even more ghetto. I don't understand why any remote made anymore wouldn't be bluetooth and not need to be aimed anywhere specific.
