Yup. I soaked my only slightly rusty junkyard ones in WD40 overnight, then slathered the threads with anti-seize. Should be good now (after all the originals lasted for 15 years).

Finally got some pictures of light output last night. Kind of hard to represent with an iPhone, but here you go:

1. New Truck-Lite LED low beams. You can make out the center of the beam in triangular shapes down the road a bit. I really like the high side cut off, super sharp delineation line so I don't blind oncoming traffic:

2. With the high beams on:

Then I added my other lights in for comparison:

3. Truck-Lite high beams with Rigid Duallys in the bumper (aimed low and wide, fills in right in front of the truck):

4. All of that and 38" Rigid light bar on bumper:

I run the TruckLites in my van for a year now and love them.
I just added a 50" LED lightbar to the bumper to lighten the night.

Did some night video yesterday. First is Trucklite low beam, next is Trucklite high beam plus Hella Micro Xenon HID aux spotties and last is 50" LED bar

Yup, photos are sideways for me too, took me a minute to figure it out, then I think I recognized the road to your cabin. The lights look like a huge improvement over stock, but then again so would an elf holding a candle. They are a good comparison to the HIDs. In the beginning I wondered about the reliability of the HID's, but so far mine have been flawless. It will be interesting to see how each type holds up a few years down the road. My guess is that the Trucklites will last nearly forever as anything associated with Rigid seem to be battle hardened. On the other hand, total replacement will be the only option if one does quit, verses the HID's which have inexpensive, individualy replaceable bulbs and ballasts. With a similar cost and ease of instillation (the HID's took less than a hour) the light pattern and output may be the best comparison. It will be interesting to see them side by side some day.
