using two Zamp Controllers

Hi Everyone,

I purchased my van "solar ready" with a Zamp controller ZS-30A and a MC4 receptacle. I borrowed a Renogy 2x80w suitcase system from a friend to try it out. The renogy systems comes with a Zamp controller ZS-15AW as well.

I'd rather not bypass the Zamp controller on the Renogy just because I don't want to mess up my friends system by fooling with the wiring.

The question is... what are the potential issues with using two controllers?

I tried it out and the Renogy Zamp appears to be working normally when plugged in and with the sun shining. The Zamp controller inside my van does not see the PV modules but the van appears to be getting some charge from the PVs.

I contacted Renogy but they weren't very helpful. Any thoughts out there?
Most important, I don't want to do any damage to my AGM battery

Thanks!!
