Hi all,
Haven’t been on the forum in 15 months.
Can someone tell me what this circuit breaker under the hood is for? I.e. What is it connecting?
It is tripped but not sure what isn’t working. My Blue Sea ACR had some issues with auto function so I am replacing it. Also had a bad connector on my solar panel, but fixed it.
Thanks in advance.
Steve

Secondary fuse box? That style circuit breaker is what I used for a second fuse box on my offroad truck.
100-amps is a hi-amp circuit of some sort. Although the two wires on the right stud are a bit confusing...one red and one black?!?
Is there any chance of following the red or black cable to it's destination?
Regards.
Chris

Hey Steve where you been? As mentioned that sure looks like what SMB used on my air compressor. They put mine close to the starting batteries. Figure the same on the v-10.

And then again, it may be the feed from your start battery to the Blue Seas ACR.
You need to trace that wire FIRST, and the wires to and from the Blue Seas ACR, before you buy any parts.
Are you the original Sportsmobile Owner? Just because Sportsmobile did it a certain way on another van doesn't necessarily mean yours is wired that way. If you aren't the original owner, who knows who added that circuit breaker. Easy enough to verify and you'll learn something about your van.
Thanks all, looks to possibly be the compressor, in that it is not working. I reset the breaker and also see an inline 60 amp fuse which I changed (though) it was not blown. I need to trace it when I get some time next weekend.
Just went on a short trip with my 5 year old. It was great camping in the van after 8 months! Good to be back here too.
