Our new Sportsmobile the 'Bob Sled'

I have read with great interest many insightful and helpful posts here and after many years of coveting a Sportsmobile ordered one last January and picked it up March 24th. My son Hunter and I headed up to Seattle stopping at the State capitals and along the way we encountered tremendous amounts of rain and snow ending up in Mammoth where we had a couple nice off road sessions and now am planning our next excursion to Idaho in June. Having owned a motorhome and not needing all the stuff they have I had it set up simply with 2 extra Captain's chairs a reclining sofa bench and inverter. Over 2700 miles it ran great the dog house which is dynamatted was always cool and the noise of the 6.0 PSD seems louder than my F350 at idle but quieter on the road. The big rubber makes for a cush ride and we were very pleased over all, see for yourself. When we got home it started running rough but after draining the fuel filter it runs great and I guess we just had some water in the fuel which I hear is quite common from my friend Rod the Bio Diesel Guru/advocate. Hope to see you on the earth somewhere!

Nice ride, at least from the outside

How about some interior shots too?

Congrats!

I know exactly where you took that first pic. In fact, I had my SMB there today doing a little exploring with the kids.
