Our Van is in!!!

My wife and I visited SMB Fresno last week to finalize our SportsMobile. Hopefully we will get it by July. Took a couple of pics during our trip. Our van "BB" is based off a Ford F350 EB chassis with a -V10 engine. Dark metallic Gray and (we bit the bullet) opted for the 4x4 .

Finished SportsMobile Line up!

2x4 SMB

A couple 4x4 SMB, white one is still in production!

Eagle Alloys. Personally, I still like the old AR Mojaves

One of the new options my wife wanted, a flushed mount stove on the galley.

And our floor plan!!! Its a Combination of Canyonclan's and the EB 71 (One of SMB's old floorplans)

Congratulations Surfgeek. I love the layout. Also, you will never regret having 4x4, it just means a "little" more money. Now for the hard part...the wait. The worst part about the wait is that you may come up with a couple extra upgrades that you didn't consider originally and the build list keeps on growing. At least that's what happened to us (keypad entry, flat plate and espar).

sdwindansea,

Who did the keypad entry for you guys? Do you remeber how much that cost? I think that would be ideal for us when ever we surf!

Thanks, Ray

Rob (electronics guy) at SMB installed the keypad for us. That and the extra large storage are my two favorite options. I believe it cost right around $400.

Ray, you guys will be stylin' in 'BB'.

The 4x4 is a chunk of change, but I think you will put it to use. I can't imagine being stuck w/the family, in the sand on some beach, thinking I wish I had 4 wheel drive to get outta this!

Hope to see you on the road, or at the campfire. I just p/u'd one of those SMEV stoves too. They are a big improvement over the stock unit.

Congratulations!
