These should work with your sportsmobile as long as there is 4 spots on your frame with 4-6" of clearance for the brackets.

We are going to be selling both style brackets along with the complete slider. Here is the link to the ones we used with this build.

We completed the first set this week and had the chance to test them out a little.

Wall thickness on these was .120 wall. You can custom order any wall thickness.

Took a look a a sportsmobile today, they should work just fine. The only difference would be you may only be able to have three mounting brackets off the frame with the batteries and aux tank.

Re: Rock sliders

With the up angle I'd have concerns about being able to open the propane door. Hard to tell. Even on my flush mount sliders I had to flip the door upside down.

Re: Rock sliders

A couple people on other sites commented that the price of these sliders seemed a bit much, so here is a picture of almost all the pieces that go into building these.
This starts as a 4x4x.250 sheet of plate which we have water jet to our design.
Pictured here is our boxed style, same amount of parts for the tube ones as well

Thanks for checking them out, we will add a pic once theses are all welded up..

Re: Rock sliders

Hi,

I suggest a hole in the bottom of the boxed attachment bracket, at it's lowest point, to allow moisture to drain out of the box and prevent corrosion.

Regards,

Gavin

Re: Rock sliders

After a minor accident on my body/rocker mounted side steps, I put some custom made frame welded sliders on my 2000 EB Quigley 4x4. It was tricky to fit them around the house battery, propane tank and other things under the vehicle. But we managed a layout that is sturdy and attached to the frame instead of the van body. These are more functional as side steps than true slides (not sure how much of the van weight I'd put on them!) but they feel solid and make for a good spot to put a beer bottle when next to the van!
