Not handy. Why? It is a lousy setup for a few reasons.

Re the vent:

I, too, am really curious about why your original vent leaked. I intend to put a MaxxFan on mine.

Do you know if the vent was just installed on a fiberglass layer, or did SMB glue some cross-member wood pieces underneath to put the top-down screws into?

I am not even sure SMB installed it. When I was there they claimed they wouldn't put a fan in the PH roof.

Hard to tell now, it has about an inch of RTV on it.

Re: SMB West visit

Peter or Stu said that because of the flex in the roof that putting a vent there is problematic to keep it sealed.

I picked up my van, I forgot to take pictures....because I had to shuttle it elsewhere for some more work.

The raptor lining on the PH looks awesome, but it is a lot darker than the van because they don't do a metallic version of the lining.

They also replaced the headlining where the vent was.

I got two Zamp solar panels and controller, had my Xantrex battery monitor installed, replaced awning brackets, installed the PH gasket roof tape, replaced CO detector, installed new shore power inlet (my old one was covered by the rear Aluminess bumper), new house battery and tray. Basically took care of a bunch of things that were on my punch list.

Well I wasn't getting them done all that quickly and they were things it was efficient for them to do with the battery down and the PH top off.
