Big giveaway on the classics is the lack of taillights. It just looks weird without them.

You can see a bunch of them in every new video clip filmed in the factory.

That's right. Forgot about the tail lights. There was some talk of putting some bolt on lights at one time.

This is not a classic. This is the Hosmer van that was just bought from SMB Texas. Likely why it has no plates. Its a pretty awesome built van. Custom CBI Offroad aluminum bumper, etc, etc.

Any idea who ended up buying that van?

Have my deposit down for what I am assuming is a 2020 Classic, with delivery date of October, 2020 with fingers crossed. I am hoping this is the forum to follow progress and developments. Thanks,....

Congratulations, but it's hard to believe delivery times are out to almost 1 1/2 years in the future. When we bought ours 10 years ago, it was only 3 months.

So Sportsmobile posted on Facebook that Classic van #001 was delivered to its owners. Someone asked in the comments about a price and SMB stated $185K. Are the Classics really going for that much? That seems like a huge increase based on what I paid for my 2013 Ford. I realize that options can increase the price but the price quoted surprised me.Click image for larger version

I thought I had read somewhere that the Classics would be $150k+. I am sure the R&D needs recouped.

I hope later, pre-Classic E-series SMBs will hold value well because of the Classic pricing.
