Underseat in the 50

Here are some photos I'm emailing to SMB Texas so they can plan an invertor install, thought someone would be interested now or later. Also I'd like to see someone with a similar setup that has an invertor snap a pic of it.

Just for the record SMB Indiana said they wouldn't touch a project like this for anything, as it was an "already built" SMB. Too bad, Hunington, IN is only about an hour from where I'll be for the next month. Luckily Texas SMB is "on the way back" to the tune of adding only 6 hours... but I still have to go the long way through Texas after... yarg!

Have you thought about having a local place install the inverter instead of traveling to Texas for it? I'm sure plenty of shops could handle installing an inverter plus with a local place if you have any issues with it down the road they're easy to go back to.

Well I'm getting 5 things done:

1. Xantrex Invertor
2. "Prewire" for Solar
3. under seat fuse panel replacement
4. leaky top repair (warrantied)
5. mid cab curtain made

SMB Texas will do them all in one day and I'm relatively assured that when I plug into shore power nothing will melt or explode. I'm sure I could do all the work myself, I'm just sick of researching, learning, planning, etc. and I barely have a shop because this is a rental house.

I just want to know it's done right without having to understand every nuance for once. This way my only concern it how to occupy myself for 9 hours.
