I bought an extension with a step at Harbor Freight but it is effectively the same height as my bumper. I put it upside down to lower it 2".

I run a Smittybuilt beaver tail step on an extension. It doubles as a tow point and is nice and wide.

I have the deluxe box and fill it quite often. Wish I had thought about asking for a larger custom box.
