best lettuce crisper

I found out by accident that plastic grocery bags make the best lettuce crisper we've ever had. Way better than the bulky plastic ones we've always used and take less space. Give it a try.

Re: best lettuce crisper

Just keep the lettuce dry. Wrap it in a paper towel, keep it dry and it will last for weeks.

Also don't put it in the back of the Nordic-cold where it freezes and keep it in front of the Never-cold where mayo spoils.

We found that kale lasts much longer, is much more versatile, can be used for salad or sautéed with a little garlic, lemon and curry powder, or thrown in anything else you cook, great with eggs.....crap...it's midnight, I'm stoned, now I'm hungry....
