I ran across this york 210/ starter kluge. it looks easy and cheap. two of my favorites.

More or less how Oasis air compressors are put together. A lot of people also use Yorks driven by an engine belt to provide air.

No thanks on the chain. Tying a york to a starter though, that's interesting. As Herb said, in the off-road world putting a York on the fan belt is pretty common.
