Bug deflector - 07 and earlier

I threw my worn out SMB hood mask away. I didn't like it, too likely to trap tree crud under it.

I would like to find a front hood edge perspex deflector. I found a thread on an 08 factory Ford deflector (8c2z-16z900-A). Any pointers to one - either Ford or aftermarket for the prior 9x-07 vans?

(edit) Anyone have Weathertech? Pics?

Re: Bug deflector - 07 and earlier

I had the Weathertech on my van for a few years, but now it's sitting in the garage. It fit and looked fine, but the screws would strip out of the fiberglass hood and after a while I noticed one of the rubber "bumpers" came off and it was rubbing on the hood. Guess I just got tired of messing with it and just took it off.

Here's a couple photos with it on.

I have one installed. First image was delivery day for me. No accessories yet. Second image is the current look. Third is a couple of years ago.

Re: Bug deflector - 07 and earlier

Thanks! The WeatherTech looks pretty good installed. (why the mfr can't put up pictures, I don't know)

Interesting your Warn doesn't allow for the lid to the winch box to fit on? Is it an M12000 or bigger?

Also, any issues with the adhesive mounting of the WeatherTech? I'd prefer a screw mounting so I can remove it to clean it out every year or so (beyond hosing it out when washing the rig)
