cam can containers

This would be a great way to carry oil or water...too bad nothing for diesel. I'd like to see if one could be adapted to my spare.

Re: cam can containers

Interesting idea, but I am really happy with my Rotopax.

Actually I'm thinking both. Hauling engine oil could be a huge advantage if you loose a filter in the outback. 16 quarts takes up a lot of room. But for those with wanting a spot to carry potable water, having both systems might be a solution. I plan on doing a redesign on my rear box...got to add a spot for my pul-pal spade and I'll probably do as you...add the rotopax behind the box.

I'm thinking a mount on my trailer.

Re: cam can containers

Great quality and they are bomber and do not leak. The only draw back is that mine would not fit behind my Aluminess deluxe box. I ended up putting it inside on the top shelf.

Re: cam can containers

SteveInLA, Very nice, thx for posting. I already have the swingaway and am just getting ready to get my box. 2 questions: Is there any modification that needs to be done to the box or how it is mounted, and what size container is that in your photo?
