Child Seat Belt - Harness?

Hi all,

Looking for the best security option for my kids (6-4). They are still in a booster but I do not like using (only) the lap belt.

Do you know/have seen an option for the kiddo that can be fixed to our van?

Something like a harness? I am pretty sure I have seen something on the web but not able to put my hand on.

Thanks

B

New owner, researching the same. I've found two options on this forum by google-searching "Sportsmobile four point seat belt". One is made by EZ-ON (model 86Y) that uses the existing lap belts (shoulder belts have loops which slide over the existing lap belt ends before you buckle), costs about $90, and requires only mounting the shoulder/3rd point on the cross-bar behind the bench. My reading tells me it's the less-intrusive option if you also use your bench as a bed (less to deal with when folding the bed).

The other, cheaper, options is currently on sale for about $60, and you mount both the lap and shoulder belts. Made by Wesco performance. https://www.wescoperformance.com/4posebepubub.html

Bfolens,
Here’s a complete wrap up of our efforts. Worth it for sure. http://www.sportsmobileforum.com/for...eat-19312.html

Just to close this thread. I ended to install the Wesco performance Belt. During the installation, realized that having to keep the harness on top of the mat was not the best for the sleeping experience. For now, I am using large screw eyes and a carabiner t be able to clips and remove it easily. The harness is an additional security level. We are still using the lap seat belt. I will post a picture later.

I've been using this strap as a tether for the kid's seats. Our older girl even uses the harness with the tether.
