Emergency Cell Power

Check this cool gadget out, it is not cheap but you cant put a price on a Emergency when your not near a power source. It has passed our 08' Field test and is in our Jump Gear for field operations. One is in my van as we speak.........

You can buy a battery version emergency charger for any phone at radioshack. If you're so far gone that you have no cell battery and no van power and can't come up with some AAs I think making a cell call might not improve things so much, especially if you have to wait for the sun to come up.

Well if you check out the site the good thing about it you don't have to wait for the sun it's a hybrid. We tested all major brands out there that you can get at Radio Shack, Wal-Mart and such. The main issue with some of the cheaper gadgets is that they can short your phone we had this issues. The next is phantom loads which sucks all your juice in your phone if you forget to unplug. The Solio has a little brain in there which makes it dummy proof.

I have been testing this technology since 2002 and this is the only gadget that made it through a full season test.......

Last week at least, Costco had the Solio classics for $80.

I can check next time I'm at my Costco and give you a call to see if you want me to pick it up for you and mail it. Can't be more than a few bucks for postage.

Jage, the local Costco guys told me they had the backup cameras for the holiday season last year but may or may not have them this year. However, the backup camera is available on Costco's web site.
