Front runner?

Hi, I'm planning on buying a chunk of their product line yet know nothing about them. Anyone familiar with the quality/utility of this company and what they sell?
Thanks, Andrew.

Yes, although I don't own any of their stuff other than a transit bag. I looked hard a their roof racks but went with an Eezi Awn K9 from Equipt Outfitters instead. A bit higher quality IMO although the front runner is nice and they offer a ton of accessories.

I bought a FrontRunner rack to go on my hardtop. My impression is that it's very well built and very adjustable. It's heavier than Aluminess I'm sure but I've been pleased with it so far.

Interesting. It varies depending on customizations but when I was researching racks, Aluminess told me that for a penthouse top with standard slats the weight was ~130lb.

I went with the K9 because the 2m x 1500 m (79" x 59") is 72lb. Something to consider with a manual penthouse. It's also the same width and fits in nicely on the rest of the roof behind the solar panel.

OP, 4runner had a 10% off deal from the Overland Expo that I think is still valid. I'll see if I can find it in my swag bag of cards, literature, brochures and the like.

Well I guess then that it's lighter than the Aluminess. But it's also not a full coverage rack like theirs. I removed a couple of crossbars to clear my vent so the rack weighs 76lbs.
