Can someone tell me what these mounts are for? Yakima rack?

Hard to tell from the photo, but looks like either the Yakima "wide body" or the Thule "artificial rain gutter".

^^ I agree. You could mount the Yakima A1 mounts or similar Thule mounts for crossbars.

^^^^^ Yep, this. Had them on my Toyota. They hold the Yakima 1A towers.

Yakima stuff is great medium duty stuff, and very universal. I still pick up parts at garage sales and flea markets, adding to my collection. I bought my first Yakima rack in 1982, rain gutter type, to transport my bicycle back and forth to races and training rides on top of my VW bug

Yes, thank you. I have my eye out on craigslist for the 1A brackets and crossmember.
