Hi Lift mounting

Where do you mount your Hi Lift Jack. I know i've seen a few of them mounted on the front bumper. The thing is...I have the Trailready front bumper on my SMB so it's a bit different.

Re: Hi Lift mounting

The question is: After mounting your Hi-lift jack, and it looks kool and all, what do you do with it? I have about four Hi-lift jacks, and use them all the time for everything, EXCEPT lifting the SMB. There is nowhere to engage it! Maybe the trailer receiver hole, but then you have to lift the whole rear end not just the wheel you want to change. They look really spiffy and 4-wheel-drivey and everything, but I can't see that they do anything more than add traction in the snow.

Re: Hi Lift mounting

I partly agree with your sentiment. But, with the wheel hooks you can lift side to side. You can also use it as a com-a-long or use it on another vehicle if needed. With the Trailready(steel) bumper I can use the Hi-Lift bumper hooks on it also.
