Bumper was original to the van. The swingout was swapped out i know for a fact. I have pictures of the van with a standard box, after receiving.. and then dual spares after the owner decided to switch it out. The post is where the 3 mounts are, maybe it was put in after that fact..
Who knows.. i think each SMB is their own beast when it comes to the Aluminess products. I would give Dave a call down there and find out. That generator and other items cant be too much stress. I think you're fine.
