Maxx Fan install ?

I just ordered a Maxx fan with the built in rain cover and I am replacing the original so the hole is there but I was looking at the roof tonight and looks like it will be hard to do with out standing or at least laying on the roof. It is a Voyager Top. Has anyone got any suggestions ? Will it hold 200lbs?
Thanks
Jim

Re: Maxx Fan install ?

The Voyager tops normally have a few strips of wood along the top portion. I had extra added for strength and can walk on mine but not positive on the normal Voyager top. Derek from Colorado Camper Van installed mine so maybe call and ask him his thoughts? I bet he has installed a few more by now.

Just a little FYI you can walk stand lay down or whatever else you want to do on a voyager top. I have been on my scraping silicone for the last 4 hours. LOL
