That's awesome! I actually sold my bug once I found out I was having a child and wish I wouldn't have! They are so much fun and easy cars to learn on, it's really hard to screw something up and if you do it only usually costs a couple bucks ha ha.

Awesome! I was handed down a '73 Super Beetle for my first car. Fun times!

Glad to see you have the lift installed. It looks much better standing up tan laying down.

Lol, thanks Larrie.

I also started with a VW, a 68 I picked up when I was about 14 yrs. old, for $200. It was in about the same shape as this one. My Dad and I both learned a lot about body work on it, and my son will too I hope. Mostly what I learned about body work is that I generally hate it, but the rest of the car was a blast.
I wish I had kept it!

I'd really like to find him a bus instead, but he'd probably never get a date.

I'm sure my neighbors would appreciate it if my van fit in my garage. Oh well, that's not going to happen so oil changes in the street continue.

Nice shop Eric!

Now all you need is a basement so you can work on tops at table height

P.S. You do realize you're going to have to up your game? The same old quality isn't going to cut it anymore, now that you have a sweet shop.
