More useful Apps

A couple of more useful Apps that were either free or nearly so are the
Clinometer HD and the OffRoadMeter . I have used several times for leveling and off camber trails . Both of these Apps have been checked against a hard wired Mil Spec Clinometer and found to be quite accurate .

Re: More useful Apps

Thanks Gregg, hadn't heard of those, I'll try em ASAP. My new I5 will be here Monday! I'm trying not to get all overly excited like a teenager, but I can't wait to try the new camera and Siri. "Siri, can you do the dishes?" "Siri, can you take out the garbage?" Can't wait.

Personally I find the new Maps app to be a letdown. Mostly I mean the navigation I guess. I expected it to do a LOT more and display a lot more info than it does. It doesn't even have a night time driving mode, you just have to turn the brightness way down and then you can't see the small print. Boo.

Re: More useful Apps

Apples Map App is much less proficient that the Google version that they had prior to IOS 6 probably not a wise separation on Apples part . With all of the Apple products in this family you would think that we had a new member of the family with all the conversation between my wife , children and grandkids and Siri !

Lol Gregg, agreed on all both points. My kids love to talk to Siri as well (my wife has had it for awhile). It, her, whatever she is......

Talk with it or argue? Teenagers love to hurl insults.
