Curious as to what others have done about mounting their recovery trax to their roof racks. I currently have mine bungeed down but that is not a good long term solution as the bungees won't last long or prevent others from borrowing them.
I would like to find an easy way to lock them to my Yakima roof racks.
I have the Thule cross bars to mount a removable roof rack and I was able to fit the stacked traction boards right under them. They fit pretty snug but I used a tie down to secure them. No one has stole them yet :-)
I have two 4" square U-bolts coming up from the bottom of the rack and up through the trax, secured by some 5 star knobs. Not real secure but quick, which seems to be the point whenever I find that I need them.
