I've had the ScanGage for months now and they have come up with a $25 upgrade that makes it an X-Gage. It doesn't have oil temp, but it sez it will do cylinder head temp and trans fluid temp (among lots of other info). I just got mine back from the upgrade yesterday and set it up as shown in the new owners manual. It now lists some of the other gauges that I wanted, but I'm not getting any readout. In other words, I now show CHT and TFT on the gauge, but no values are shown. I've got to call them today to see what gives.
If you go to the ScanGage site, there is a place where you can click on X-Gage info and it lists what other info is available for what vehicles.
Mine is an '07 with the 6.0
I'll post later with the info I get from the ScanGage folks. It'll be next week as I'm going out of town.

Well, I just got off the phone with ScanGage and the news is not good for us with the 6.0
There are thirteen additional gauges that are available with the X-Gage upgrade. These are shown on the ScanGage site. Anyway, the only two new gauges that work with the upgrade are "Fuel Pump Duty Cycle" and "Fuel Level". Personally, neither of these are of much use to me. I've talked to the programmer there and they will be adding more gauges for lots of other vehicles and also getting more gauges to work with the 6.0. I don't know about what works, if anything, with the V-10.
They said to keep checking the web site and when more gauges are added as they do software updating with the manufactures, they will appear there.
I guess the bottom line is - the ScanGage is great the way it is. It would be a lot better with more info, and that is coming. Stay tuned???

Scangauge

There is another company that sells a gauge that tells Oil temp, Water temp

and Trans temp.. To me those three are a bare minimum.. I think it's

Autometer meter. The van has all the sensors.. I don"t know why

Scangauge can"t do it.

ScanGage can, they just haven't taken the effort to come up with the codes yet. They say it's coming. You have a web site for the other gage you mentioned?

Sangauge

Forget Scangauge... Check out MSD Dashhawk. Looks like it has everything.

Google it.

I use a BD Power X-Monitor (monitors EGTs, trans temp, turbo boost), and I also recently got a ScanGauge, though I haven't installed it yet. I have the X-Monitor to keep track of the most important criteria while towing, and the ScanGuage primarily for the fuel usage/economy information.

Scan Gauge just added trans temp for the 6.0 and it works great.
It's on the X-gage part of the site.
