swing-away or swivel table?

HI --

I'm looking for a swing-away or swivel table, preferably with a wall or cabinet mounting bracket. The "must" is that the table should rotate to vertical position for storage against the back of the driver's seat.

Many here speak favorably of the Lagun table, which looks versatile, but does not appear to have the ability to rotate the table to vertical for storage.

I have found the Springfield table, which does seem to allow the table to be rotated vertically, but I know nothing about it. Has anyone used it in their SMB?

Finally, I think that tables such as I describe were used in Westys. Any leads?

Thanks!

Nope, the Westy tables are all just like the Lagun. You just remove the top and store it behind a seat (or wherever). The arm swivels anywhere you like.

I've never seen one that folds out of the way like you describe....but I'd sure like to!

I'm very happy with the Lagun. It takes about 5 seconds to break down.

Sorry.....not much help.

Thanks. I did more time on the webs last night and can't find the video of the one that rotate vertical. Sigh.

I really like the videos from fellow in VanLifeTV (he's a rock climber in Cornwall). installing his swing-away table. It doesn't rotate, but otherwise fits the bill.... maybe.

This sort of table seems to be a in RVs in the UK -- campervans and otherwise. The functionality looks to be very similar to the Lagun, but the support is, IMHO, much sleeker, less intrusive looking.

Non suppports seem to rotate to the vertical plane.... maybe I just *think* I saw that when I was camping in Colorado

Alas, the folks selling the support in the UK don't ship to the US. Time for a non-road trip? Wonder what the air security authorities would think of a large piece of pipe in a checked bag....

You're going through exactly what I did. I wanted this style but couldn't find it here. As you've found out I couldn't get anyone to ship me one. I thought about building it, then found the Lagun and couldn't beat the price. I couldn't build one for much cheaper than Lagun and still it wouldn't have replaceable wear parts as the Lagun does.

Good luck!
