Re: WEDCO FUEL CANS

Yep, many people ship them to friends/family out of state , then just ship them back to CA.

For the record, I have no idea what you're talking about.

Re: WEDCO FUEL CANS

I found Scepter fuel and water jerry cans for sale on eBay (Item #110342791452) for anyone interested. The seller indicated he will ship to CA and offers a small discount if 4 or more are purchased. They're pricey at $79 each with $15 shipping. Fill spouts are also available ($44 for the diesel one). Discounted price was $75/can.

Re: WEDCO FUEL CANS

I had seen those, but for I'd rather have Wedco cans or NATO suplus cans at 50-60% of that price. I didn't even look at the spount he had. $44 for a plasitc spout, they must be much harder to come by than the cans themselves. I much prefer to use a Super Siphon for nearly all my fluid transfer from any kind of fuel/water can to just about any kind of container.

Found these NATO surplus cans for $25, but shipping is something like $9 a can.

Re: WEDCO FUEL CANS

Here are some pics of the Wedco cans I bought off eBay, and sent to my dad.

BTW, he hasn't decided if he's going to keep the spouts or sell them since he probably won't use them. The spout holders are permanently attached to the cans however, and cannot be removed without drilling out the rivets, so that probably won't happen. Did I mention these were for my dad?

Herb can you use non carb compliant cans with diesel?

Re: WEDCO FUEL CANS

It's my understanding that there's absolutely no difference between gas cans and diesel cans, though my "understanding" is based upon second-hand info. Water cans have a food safe lining that shouldn't come in contact with fuel.

Re: WEDCO FUEL CANS

Thanks. I thought maybe it had to deal with filling and off gassing. Diesel really doesn't off gas. I understand the spilling part but I seem to spill with a carb can more than a jerry can.
