Windshield Sunshade

Does anyone have a recommendation for a sun shade for the front windshield of our SMB? I know this is kind of a small, insignificant item, but ones I've used on past vehicles have a been more of a pain than they've been worth.

The Eclipse Sunshade looks like it work well and would be easy to use (my two requirements).

Try HEATSHIELD.

We have had one for every vehicle we have and all the vehicles in the family and all our friends vehicles...

They are made from a template of the windshield itself so it is a perfect fit. It is a foil-covered insulated sheet that rolls up.

We are about to order one for our new van.

Any idea as to the rolled-up size?

The rolled up length would be the height of the windshield from top to bottom. The rolled up diameter depends on how tightly you roll it up, but would probably be around 5 or 6 inches, It comes with attached velcro to keep it rolled up.

We have had the roll up and the fold up and of the two the fold up has been our favorite for the reasons of gapless fit , storage (doesn't roll around ) and longevity , it also seemed to reduce the internal ambient temperature a little better . We now just slide it on top of the Penthouse Bed when not in use , out of the way and nice and flat .

Interesting.... we found that the rolled up version gave us almost zero gap between the glass and the shade due to the curvature from having been rolled up.

The first vehicle we used these in was the 1990 Nissan 4WD pickup. We got one immediately after we got the truck new. I think we are on our third for that vehicle and the truck has 18 years and 300k miles on it.

Those for the Insight, the S-10, and the 300zx also work great. The one for the Prius is just slightly undersize and we have to make sure we position to the passenger side to keep it in place correctly.

My Mom has one for her Camry and our neighbors for a Land Cruiser and a Acura Legend and they have all worked flawlessly.
