Forum Update Tuesday Dec 8

On Tuesday the forum will be offline for a few hours while our software and site features are updated.
Beginning round 7 AM (eastern time) the forum will be unavailable for about 4 hours as we make these changes.

The forum is being migrated to a new software platform (vBulletin) and there will be several new features including member garages (to track builds and modifications) new photo albums and few more things. The site will also be getting an visual facelift and so you will find that it looks quite a bit different. Private messages, posts, images and attachments should all be preserved.

We will make every effort to keep the downtime brief and once the board is back online we'll continue to tweak settings. You may notice a few blips along the way but we will get them resolved as quickly as possible and once we're running smoothly you should see faster page loads and more robust features.

Yes. It typically takes a few days before tapatalk updates and at that point you may have to reload but in the interim we will have a lean mobile skin available with no download. Your device should auto detect when you first visit the site.

Hi,

You drive a 6.0 diesel. You should be used to having bad feelings, Hans.

Regards,

Gavin

And we're back.... Many things are still being adjusted but we wanted to get back online asap so thanks in advance for your patience.

Please post up if you see something seriously amiss.

I noticed in my thread about my build in the "Sprinter Forum" that many of the older posts with pictures are missing the actual pictures which are so critical to the story.

Has this been lost?

If so, why is it that the newer photos show up and not the older ones?

Can you post a link to a thread that has this problem?

Janet,

In the Sprinter forum it is the one titled: "My SMB Sprinter Van conversion building experience".

It should be easy to find. Try page 16 for a good example but there is much much more.

The pictures are also in with the text so you may have to dig some out if you are doing this manually.

Thank you.

Chumley
