profile picture issue.

okay..I have resized my photo to under 21kb for avatar pictures. The dimensions are correct and still can't upload...?And the picture I resized to is so tiny there is no way this is correct...21kb is so tiny. How is everyone getting this correct?

I too am having this problem. I have done a search and cannot find the answer. Boy I did not not want to admit that I couldn't get by this. It really hurts to say help. Please.

You need a good graphics program that lets you adjust more than width and height. You also need to be judicious with your picture and which part you use. ShortMocha's avatar looked terrible until I cut half the moped and almost all of the front off- just too much detail to translate at that size..

I am using Nikion NK editor. This is a pretty heavy duty editor so it should do the job.

I had to beg a mac wiz kid on my staff when I did mine last year during the build. I've never updated it with the finished van because he left our team. I work with adobe photo shop but can never figure out how to make it small enough.

Well, finally got my avatar image changed but boy, it was not easy. Joeynick helped by taking an image I had and resizing. But even then the forum wouldn't accept it though it was only 16kb. Plus it was seen as too wide at 150 pixels so I had to narrow to 100pixels. by then it was 8kb so it was accepted. Oh well - it's done now and it has had a huge impact on my life and the lives of others.
