Re: 2001 7.3 Quigley to Overland America's Adventure Vehicle

Thanks Chris, a long way still to go but it's getting there.

Here are a couple of shots of the door panels, first one is from an older smart phone:

This was a major PITA to get apart, we do love the outcome though. We failed twice at recovering the upper piece with our own vinyl. We ultimately took the tops to an upholsterer and he ordered the darker green and did it properly. Learning curve was a bit too steep. The rest was really simple, paint, sewing the new pockets then bolting it all together. It'll be much easier to change anything since we can take it all apart. I'm still not enamored with the gray handles, haven't come up with a good alternative we're capable of building (aluminum could be cool)...yet.

WOW!

When we speak of "loud" colors these are jet plane loud, standing right next to the engines loud. WOW!!

Ain't no one sleeping in that interior---too much noise!

We like color, it is a diesel so we had to balance it out.

Back at it after a small break... dry fitting the majority of the major pieces

Hey, there's some plain old gray in there too (until we decide to get it recovered in Central or South America)
