I got the front axle underneath and mocked up, I had to set it on the ground just to see what it will look like. I’m very happy with the way it is turning out.

Man such a great canvas to work from. What's the interior height of the box?

Thank you, standing in the center it’s right at 6’ but that’s totally gutted with no finished ceiling and just the original floor.

Installed and bled the brakes, installed all the steering linkage that came with the axle. I will install new brakes and steering when I do final assembly, I just wanted to test everything. I drove around the neighborhood and everything feels pretty good. Now I need to start on the rearend I got high centered 1 block from my house. I had to do the walk of shame home to get my floor jack and a bunch of pieces of wood while my neighbors kept stopping to laugh at me and see if I needed help.

Garage
Looks great, well done and thanks for posting. Sucks about getting high centered, but easy enough to resolve.

Definitely need to cut off this bumper and build a new one. This bumper is a cargo step bumper like on a Uhaul. It’s only 12” off the ground and it is 13” wide past the body.

The transmission is rebuilt with a billet torque converter, and installed with the rebuilt transfer case. Now I have to fab up the transmission crossmember.
