Re: 2013 E350 New Build

I finished the battery box, got it primed and installed temporarily so I could drill and mount the ARB compressor behind it.

I was able to tuck the compressor right behind the batteries so it shouldn't get much road spray.

Re: 2013 E350 New Build

I got the ladder installed.

I realized today that I had mounted the light about 1/2" too high. Good thing the housing has a lot of coverage past the mounting screws because I had to lower it for the ladder.

Skinny I just gotta ask--when do you work---I mean job wise? With your rapid progress I'm beginning to believe you're an eccentric wealthy man who likes working on vans?!?!

OTOH that battery box is quite substantial looking--well done!

I like the ARB compressor location too---tucked out of the way but accessible too---also well done.

At this rate you'll be done by next Wednesday!

Yup, eccentric and wealthy. NOT!!!!! Haha I'm going to be in the poor house when I'm done with this van.
I actually closed the doors on my business this Fall, due to our economy, so this is all I have for a job right now until April when I'll be heading to Alaska to work for the Summers.

That ARB compressor has been on my radar but not in my budget, are you going to use a storage tank with that?

Re: 2013 E350 New Build

I got the bumper, backup lights, galley box, and the expedition kit installed today. Finished insulation and painted the battery box.

I don't think I'm going to install a tank. I will be mostly airing up tires and not running tools.
