2017 Transit Build by MG

And so it begins... The Transit has landed. Not a lot can happen to this until the Cummins van is finished but we have some big plans for this rig.

The deets:
-2017 Transit XL Medium Roof Passenger van
-3.5L Ecoboost V6
-3.31:1 non-limited slip rear (soon to be upgraded to something more awesome with an ARB locker or Truetrac and 3.73s or 4.10s...)
-Electronic gadgets all over the place. Loaded with almost every option.

Not even a day old and already being put to use chasing parts...

He needs something to fill in that 80-100 hours per week he's putting in on the Econo-Cummins. Once that's done he won't know what to do with himself.

Um... I have multiple van builds coming. I need an extra 80-100 hours per week already!!

I think you guys would laugh if you knew about all of the projects that I'm juggling.

This gonna be good. Im sure this build will single handedly sway some people towards a Transit build.

Also, this thing going to get your new pop-top contraption?

The coolest ones I can't talk about... The rest are various applications of Sienna seat mounts. (no matter how hard I try, I can't get away from those dang Sienna seats....)

4x4 for sure! As much as I'd love to have the front of a Raptor stuffed under the van, it's not looking possible. I'll have the CAD models of the Transit soon though and we'll see what can happen.

I hope so! I think the Transit is a great platform for many types of users! I think we'll be doing a pop-top of some variation on this. Gotta get my E-series done first.
