7 lug wheels?

So, what is the deal with 7 lug wheels? There are basically no replacements for them. I bought a used 2011 E250, but it has brand new tires (less than 100 miles) but the stock wheels which are 7 lug. I'd like to keep the tires to save some money, but I cannot find any aftermarket 7 lug wheels. Why would Ford do that?

There's an extra lug under the hub cap.

Re: 7 lug wheels?

Your actual bolt pattern is 8x6.5", just like all E250/350/450 vans since '92 (with the exception of early '97 E350 wagons, which did get 7-lug wheels, and is the reason the vans have 7-lug wheel covers even now). FWIW - The F150HD is also 7-lug (still is).
