The Froli Sleep System is a sleep system comprised of a topper pad (of your choice, not included in kit. we will use a 4" gel top) that is placed on top of an interlocking set of plastic suspension springs. The end reslut is a high end sleep system often used in yatchs and luxury motor home conversions. It is also used in the xpcamper as a light weight and very comfortable bed (Marc lived full time in his XPC prototype for 6 months).

cost for a full size _Star_ kit is ~ $315 and queen _Star_ is ~$390
you can place any number of rows on say the back rest, and the others on the seat, then make fold/move both into place for sleeping as needed. Can even be made to work in non-rectagle areas (think boat V-berths).

cheers

i'll let you know : )

POST SCRIPT EDIT, Just back from a week of nites sleeping on the Froli. It is a FANTASTICALLY COMFORTABLE SLEEP PLATFORM! Yup i was yelling : ) And i think one could actually jump on the bed and not spill that wine. There is little movement transferred when one enters/exits the bed.

If you are jumping up and down, either you've had too much wine already, or you are too young to be drinking.

Hummm.... well, i do have some wine now and again.
and at 53 i still don't consider mysef to "old" to bounce or jump on a bed. I act like a kid nearly every day as my favorite excersise for the last 20 years has been a rebounder and i'm fit-as-a-fiddle.

Paint is thin, that and/or make contoured boards that inset into the various indents in the door. Cover with similar fabric, paint, or salvage your themed fabric for the smaller inserts. You'll certainly have white paint between, but it goes with the rest of the exposed van inside and will seal up the door just as good as a thin panel.
